This work combines the symbolism of the Sacred Heart with the visual and cultural richness of the pomegranate, a fruit deeply rooted in Sicilian tradition.

The pomegranate, opened and pierced by a sacred heart transfigured into a blade, exudes both vitality and fragility.

The intense red background amplifies this tension between pain and sacredness, recalling the balance between sweetness and bitterness that inhabits my artistic universe.
